Once you have pressed the create new button, there will be a pop-up screen that will ask you what type of file you would want to create.

Template selection

After picking your desired size format, the next thing you will be faced with is picking a template.

As seen below, you can choose specifically what social media platform you will be using your graphic for.

You can easily hover over the template and press on use template in order to select it. You can also opt to start from scratch by selecting the blank template.

I found it is very convenient and very easy to pick the right template that I wanted. I selected a template for a Facebook post and selected the template that appealed to me the most.

Editor dashboard

Once you have chosen your template, you will be redirected to the editor dashboard in a new tab.

In there, you can start editing the template as much as you want until it reaches the point that you have envisioned in your head.

On the dashboard, you will see different editing tools like graphics, design components, adding text and even background.

Changing graphics

In case you want to change the photo that is in the template but you have no personal photo that you can use, Piktochart would be useful to you.

The dashboard’s graphics section can help you search the photo that you are looking for by typing in a specific keyword of your choice.

For this template, I looked up images that are related to love to make a cute Valentine’s post and the search result came up with a lot of images that I had to choose from.

Background editing

You can choose to edit the background color as well as the pattern.

There are endless of ways in which you can customize a template and make it your own.

In this one, I edited the background to a darker shade of red and then inserted some hearts on the background which I think worked pretty great with the theme I was aiming for.

Downloading graphics

Once you are satisfied with your work, you can download it in different formats, depending on what you need it to be.

However, for basic users, you can only download up to medium .png file format.

Sharing graphics

You can also share your graphics to anyone by sharing the link. This is a very convenient way of sharing your graphic without having to download it and take up space in your device.
